Boundless Women’s Fitness is committed to preventing Black maternal deaths and addressing health disparities among Black women in underserved communities. As a result, Thriving While Pregnant & Beyond was born. A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers Free/ No-Cost prenatal/postpartum Pilates classes to Black women. Through pregnancy & Beyond

Thriving While Pregnant

This mom-centered Free prenatal Pilates program offers a multi-faceted, culturally sensitive, community-based approach to wellness, that honors, nurtures, and supports mom and baby through all stages of pregnancy and beyond.

The program consists of:

  • weekly prenatal Pilates classes
  • promote prenatal self-advocacy
  • postpartum support, care & wrap-around resources
  • weekly postpartum Pilates classes 
  • monthly support group

Prenatal & Postpartum Pilates Classes – Every mom, enrolled in the program, attends weekly prenatal/postpartum Pilates classes. These 50-minute classes are offered on Sunday and Wednesday afternoons. The classes are fun, lively, and focused on building core strength from the second trimester to labor.

Prenatal Self-Advocacy – Knowledge is a superpower—and we believe every mother deserves to feel powerful.
In our prenatal Pilates classes, we gently weave in birth‑prep education so moms‑to‑be can build confidence, ask informed questions, and advocate for the care they deserve. We also ensure every woman has access to resources that honor her cultural beliefs, values, and preferences, so she can move through pregnancy feeling seen, supported, and equipped.

Support Group  – Our monthly prenatal and postpartum gatherings are the heart of our program.
This is where beautiful Black birth stories are shared, community is strengthened, and women find a safe space to exhale. It’s a place to talk, decompress, reconnect with yourself, and gather encouragement for the challenges and triumphs ahead. Here, you’re held. Here, you’re not alone.

The “4th Trimester”Healing doesn’t end at birth—and neither does our care.
Our 4th Trimester program supports mothers through the entire first year postpartum, blending movement, education, and community care to help women feel steady, confident, and supported as they navigate life with a new baby.
Through postpartum Pilates and guided wellness support, we help moms rebuild strength, reconnect with their bodies, and move through the emotional and physical shifts of early motherhood. Over the course of 12 months, we offer gentle guidance on sleep routines, breastfeeding and weaning transitions, stress management, and the everyday challenges that can feel overwhelming without a village.
This is a space where mothers can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and receive culturally grounded support that honors their lived experience.
